SmartRock is a cutting-edge wireless sensor designed for monitoring the curing and hardening of concrete. Developed by Giatec Scientific Inc., SmartRock eliminates the need for time-consuming break tests and cumbersome wired sensors by securely embedding the sensor on the rebar. This ensures hassle-free maintenance and accurate data collection. The app calculates concrete strength using the maturity method, an ASTM-approved test, based on the temperature data gathered.

Moreover, SmartRock features dual-temperature monitoring capabilities, allowing users to monitor temperature differentials between the concrete’s core and surface simultaneously. With real-time access to results via the SmartRock mobile app and Giatec 360 desktop dashboard, project managers can leverage SmartRock's AI assistant, Roxi, for smart notifications and alerts, enhancing decision-making and construction schedule optimization.
